The Jody Teddy Jacket by Konges Sløjd is made of cozy teddy fleece and
100% GRS-certified recycled polyester, bringing a wonderful retro touch to children's transitional wardrobes with its wide stripes and elaborately crafted dachshund embroidery on the back.

Over a T-shirt and jeans, over a wool sweater on the way to the playground, or later in the afternoon when it suddenly gets cooler. The soft teddy fleece keeps you pleasantly warm without being too "bulky", while the high collar additionally protects against cool air. The full-length zipper is easy to open and close, making the Jody a simple layer for on the go.

The back is particularly beautifully crafted: on the wide stripes, there is an elaborately made dachshund appliqué with a small red scarf and a striped shirt. A detail that gives the jacket its own character and, when passing by, almost reminds one a little of classic children's clothing from old family albums. The combination of tangerine, cream, and blue makes the look surprisingly versatile.

Where it fits into the wardrobe

The Jody works as a classic transitional jacket in autumn and spring and, with its slightly more casual cut, can be worn wonderfully over several layers. With jeans and corduroy, it looks relaxed, with wool trousers it gets a slightly more dressed-up look. I particularly like it as a color accent to an otherwise subdued wardrobe.

The teddy fleece makes it a pleasant alternative to the classic fleece jacket, while the stripes and the dachshund embroidery prevent it from being just another functional warm layer. It brings a bit of personality.

I like children's clothing that takes its function seriously without looking like functional clothing. The Jody is warm, uncomplicated, and robust enough for daily use, but at the same time has a narrative quality that defines good children's clothing for me. Above all, the dachshund has captivated me. It sits where you only discover it at second glance and gives the otherwise classically striped teddy jacket its own character. Together with the retro colors, a look is created that looks a bit like a seventies children's book, a bit like a French weekend, and very much like a favorite jacket.
