Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither related to a commercial activity nor to an independent professional activity.

Withdrawal Policy; Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day:

  • on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods, provided that you have ordered one or more goods as part of a single order and they are delivered together;

  • on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the last good, provided that you have ordered several goods as part of a single order and they are delivered separately;

  • on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the last partial shipment or last item, provided that the goods are delivered in several partial shipments or pieces.

Exercising the Right of Withdrawal

by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract.
You may use the sample withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you for the relevant order, excluding delivery costs, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal.

Reimbursement will be made using the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise. No fees will be charged for this reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs first.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you inform us of the withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day period has expired.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion and Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts:

  • for the delivery of sale items that were reduced by a discount. Discounted items can only be returned in exchange for other goods or a store credit voucher;

  • for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for which an individual selection or specification by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer;

  • for the delivery of goods that are liable to deteriorate rapidly or whose expiration date would be exceeded quickly;

  • for the delivery of alcoholic beverages whose price was agreed at the time of contract conclusion, but which can only be delivered at least 30 days later and whose current value depends on market fluctuations beyond the trader’s control;

  • for the delivery of newspapers, periodicals, or magazines, with the exception of subscription contracts;

  • for the delivery of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery.
    For hygiene reasons, the following products are also excluded from return or exchange: baby carriers, baby wraps, socks, underwear, and swimwear;

  • for the delivery of goods which, after delivery, have been inseparably mixed with other goods due to their nature;

  • for the delivery of audio or video recordings or computer software in a sealed package if the seal has been removed after delivery.
