For me, a good children's helmet must primarily do one thing: reliably protect. At the same time, anyone who is out and about with children knows that the safest helmet is the one that is actually happily worn. The Milly bike helmet from LIEWOOD was developed for children experiencing their first adventures on a balance bike, scooter, or bicycle. It combines a lightweight construction with a well-thought-out design, ensuring that protection, comfort, and everyday usability are equally central, without sacrificing a child-friendly design. This helmet is certified according to EN 1078:2012+A1:2012 for bicycle, skateboard, and roller skate helmets!

The robust in-mold construction combines a shock-absorbing EPS inner shell with a durable polycarbonate outer shell. This keeps the helmet pleasantly light while offering the protection that active children need in everyday life. Multiple ventilation openings support air circulation and ensure a comfortable fit even on warmer days.

The color variant Play Dusty Peppermint combines a fresh peppermint shade with small graphic illustrations, which, in the form of reflective stickers, act like lovingly drawn memories of a carefree childhood day. Race cars, controllers, googly eyes and small messages can be individually applied by the kids, giving the helmet a special personal character and an extra dose of safety in the dark. A timeless design that often accompanies children happily for several years.

For a secure fit, the helmet can be individually adjusted to the head shape using an adjustment system at the back of the head. Soft inner padding and adjustable straps ensure that the helmet sits comfortably and is gladly worn. Because even the best protective equipment only serves its purpose if children put it on as a matter of course.

For the Play/Dusty Peppermint variant, I deliberately chose only sizes S (48-52 cm) and M (53-55 cm). Especially with slightly older children, the reduced design unfolds its special charm. It looks modern, high-quality, and often accompanies children for many years without quickly appearing "too small." Technically, the helmet is of course identical to all other Milly color variants. The decision for this colorway was a stylistic one.
