The Magot dungarees from Konges Sløjd, made from 100% organic cotton, are a little statement piece for your child's wardrobe: classic dungaree cut meets a graphic tiger print that lands somewhere between a vintage children's book and a French flea market find.

The print transforms an otherwise very classic garment into a real eye-catcher. The dungarees have a relaxed fit, the straps are adjustable in length, and depending on the weather, anything from a t-shirt to a wool sweater can be worn underneath. This is exactly my kind of item: something that doesn't require much styling but still looks like an outfit.

Where it fits into the wardrobe

I would combine them with a striped long-sleeve top, a red shirt, or a fine sweater in ecru or navy. In summer, a t-shirt is enough; in autumn, a knit sweater goes underneath. The tiger can certainly play the main role.

And because the cut isn't fixed to a specific age, the Magot works a little differently from 18 months to 5 years: first playful, later quite cool.

Why I chose it

I have a soft spot for children's clothing that looks like it already has a little story. This organic denim overall is one such piece.

The tiger isn't overly cute; it's graphic and a bit quirky. That's what makes these dungarees interesting to me. Add to that the classic shape, reminiscent of old workwear, and a pair of children's pants has become a little favorite.
